Orders and prices
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping, duty, import tax and export licensing. Every helmet is built to the configuration recorded with the order, so please check the specification before placing it.
An order placed here is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept it, which we do only after confirming the order can lawfully be shipped to its destination. If we cannot accept an order we will say so and return anything paid.
A bank transfer may be paid in two: a deposit of at least $500 to begin the work, and the balance once the helmet is built and photographed, before it ships. Work starts when the deposit clears. Nothing is built against an unpaid order by either method.
Export control
Ballistic protective equipment is controlled in most jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to be lawfully entitled to receive it where you are, and ours to confirm eligibility for the destination before dispatch. We may ask for documentation, and we may decline an order.
Warranty
One year on the electronics, five years on the ballistic frames. Tampering with the helmet voids its warranty. Repainting or modification is allowed, but we recommend asking us first.
Every Ronin carries a serial number. All parts are replaceable and upgradable, and can be re-ordered by email or through this site.
Use of the product
This is protective equipment, not a guarantee of safety. No helmet stops every threat. Any misuse of the product that causes harm or death to you or to anyone else indemnifies every employee, member and owner of DEVTAC.
What you buy is for your own use. You may resell it, but you must tell us who you are selling it to.
Intellectual property
The design of the Ronin, this site, its photography and its 3D models belong to DEVTAC. You may not copy the helmet, or have it copied, for any purpose. Any breach will be dealt with legally in court within the capital city of your country.
Camouflage patterns offered as a finish, MultiCam and the Kryptek family among them, are the trademarks and protected patterns of their respective owners. They are named to describe a finish; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
The configurator
The configurator shows a real model of the helmet, but what you see is a render. Colours vary between screens, and between a screen and paint. The specification recorded with your order ( systems, size, lens, finish) is what gets built, and it is what governs, not the appearance of the image.
Availability and accuracy
We try to keep prices, lead times and specifications correct, and to keep the site up, but we do not promise either. Where a price is obviously wrong we will tell you before accepting the order rather than holding you to it.
