One helmet. Two versions.
There is one Devtac Ronin. The Breacher is the standard build: full-face ballistic coverage with a detachable mandible. The Respirator version swaps the front frame for a filtered one. Everything behind that frame is the same helmet, in the same four sizes, taking the same parts.
Ronin Breacher
Ballistic aramid, Level IIIA to NIJ 0106.01, tested to stop .357 Magnum at 8.9 mm back-face signature and .44 Magnum at 11.39 mm. It arrives complete: back helmet, NVG mount, side rails, cheek plates, a spare clear lens set, Flextech ballistic foam and the six-point buckle straps that turn it into a mask.

Every model is upgradable, and parts are compatible across the range: what you buy today takes what we make next.
What you actually choose.
Not a model range but a specification. Four decisions change the helmet; everything else is paint and hardware.
Three-piece, or one
The magnetic cheek plate set comes off panel by panel and carries the side rails. The full mandible replaces all five with a single moulding and a cleaner face.
Solid or vented
Both crown panels are Level IIIA and both carry the NVG shroud. The fans breathe through the vented panel's ducting, so the solid panel and the ventilation system are an either/or.
Helmet or mask
Run the back helmet for full coverage, or take it off and carry the front section on the six-point buckle set as a mask.
Two shells, two depths
Regular and Large, each in Short and Long. Parts are ordered to size: a Regular panel will not fit a Large shell.
The production helmet.
Photographed on the stand, unretouched, in matte black with the blue lens set: the configuration most orders leave in.
Ronin Respirator
The same helmet with a different front frame: ballistic aramid with a Level IIIA mouth guard and a respirator interface. It takes 3M 6000-series bayonet cartridges out of the box, and the MIRA Safety TAPR moves it onto 40 mm NATO threaded filters and powered air for CBRN work.
| Interface | 3M bayonet, or MIRA TAPR on 40 mm NATO thread |
|---|---|
| Mouth guard | Level IIIA ballistic |
| Powered air | MIRA MB-90 PAPR, 90 L/min, ≈ 12 h on AA |
| Shared with Breacher | Back helmet · crown extender · top panels · back frame |
| Front frame | 792 USD |
The respirator front frame is not configurable in 3D: the configurator covers the Breacher shell. Quote the respirator version by enquiry.
